Are these sheets or blankets?
These are sheets. We use sheets because that way you can use them all year round. With Kids Zip Sheets all you do is place your blankets or doona cover on top. Kids Zip Sheets will help keep the top covers in place.
Can I Layby?
You can place a Layby order on our website without having to pay a layby deposit. You just select Layby at the checkout option after you have selected what you wish to order and put in all of your details. Again, there is no need to pay a deposit on your layby at the time of placing the order. Once your order is received at this end, you will receive a layby email confirmation with bank details so you can make your first payment when you’re ready. I send out layby statements to everyone at the end of the month so you know where you’re up to with your payments. Layby’s are valid for 3 mths and there is no minimum payment amount or frequency set so just make payments as you like.
Are the zips all the way around?
No, we place two 60cm long zips on either side of the top ends so that your child can zip themselves in and out. We sew the base of the sheet to the base of the fitted sheet and same with the remaining sides. We leave an unsown section on each side between where the end of the zip finishes and the bottom corner of the two sewn sheets. This allows for ventilation.
What is the difference between the cot and larger sets?
The cot sets are have press studs that allow you to short sheet the top sheet. There are several present positions for to you use. If you have a younger child you will fold the top sheet all the way down and click the top sheet into the first set of press studs. This will allow you to always place your baby/toddler at the base of his/her cot. As they get older you simple adjust the press studs until you are using the full length of the top sheet.
How do you attach the top sheet to the fitted sheet?
We sow the top sheet to the fitted sheet and double stitch it on.
How do you wash it?
You wash Kids Zip Sheets as you would the old type of sheets. Just put them in the washing machine and then hang them on the line to dry.
Can I tumble dry my sheets?
Some of our sets can be tumble dried so please read the care instructions label inside the sheets. As a general rule, the flannelette sets can’t be tumbled, nor can the polyester-cotton sets but some of the 100% cotton ones can.
